A study from the large US PATH study found that e-cigarette users were less likely to quit smoking than those who tried with NRT or without any product use.

Georg Matt and colleagues conducted study of children under 12 seeking emergency care and found nicotine on the hands of 95% of children purportedly protected from exposure to tobacco products.
