OTRU offers five small project grants of up to $20,000 each to Canadian researchers on an annual basis. The grants may be used to conduct research that is relevant to the tobacco control with preference given to projects that address one of the priority areas identified by OTRU.
Key components of the grants:
- OTRU Investigators and Affiliates with appointments at academic institutions in Canada are eligible to apply
- Two awards are designated for "early career" applicants (within 10 years of completing a PhD)
- Brief application process
Application schedule and materials for the 2008 OTRU Small Project Grants for Canadian Researchers are now available. The application deadline is March 31, 2008.
